Hello! It has been ALMOST 3 days and finally... I am linking up with Farley at Oh' Boy 4th grade for her CURRENTLY Linky.
And guess what??
And OBVIOUSLY, I had to recruit the adorable, curly top Justin (circa the 90's) to help me get things started!
*does cheesy boy bad dance*
I bet old #teamNSYNC fans heard Justin sangin'
"It's CURRENTLY May!!"
Oh, Justin- lol
Now to the goods.....
Listening
Clearly after my intro to this post you knew!! But yup, for some reason, EVERY MAY, I get boy band fever. It is like my childhood sneaks back in with some random 5 count.
*boom-boom cats*
Loving
I HAVE A NEW BLOG DESIGN!!!
Finally!!
The wait was extensive.....but so worth it!
The wait was extensive.....but so worth it!
And I owe it all to two WONDERFUL Ladies....
1. Lauren @ Hey Hey Designs: I absolutely LOVE this woman! She was personable and was able to capture "me" in my graphic. ...from the flower embellishments I use in my crayon art, right down to my Math Stacking cups. And did you peep my phone with the custom Otterbox and my Sudoku book? AND she has on red Toms!! Ackkkk!!!!! As a lover of the arts, I can say (without a doubt)Lauren has a true talent and passion for what she does, and that beams through her artwork.
So, If you are looking for stock images, pre-made or custom, Lauren is definitely your "gotta-go to".
2. Megan @ A Bird in Hand Designs: Though my blog design speaks to her awesomeness I have to give her the upmost of props! Poor Megan.....I can only IMAGINE the experience she has with clients on a daily basis, but with me, I got on my own nerves so I know I got on hers. Our email strand EXCEEDS 67 messages!! Haha! But through it all, she was patient, kind and very professional! And her attention to detail was awesome.
If you are looking for a designer, ABIH is the place! But get in there quickly, the waiting list already goes into late summer.
Thinking
I am too old to develop allergies.
But lucky for me, I did.
(-_-)

Ugh.It completely sucks.
Right now, I feel like pooh.
And not the lovable guy with the tummy full of honey.
Wanting
I moved to Maryland about 7 months ago...
Then I found out Sonic is basically nonexistent.
*burst into tears*
I think there is one 30 minutes away from where I live. But, I have not figured out a way to justify a road trip for a slushy.
Except that they are awesome.
Needing
Now that my blog is nice and purrty, I also have things in play to up my traffic. With that I need to get on some products. I have a few in the works, but I plan on packing my store.
Is there anything in particular you wanna see/buy?
Leave me a comment!
Surprise
A special surprise to Alison Rose @ Rockin, and Lovin' Learnin'!!! She is a super cool blogger, with quite a few teaching years under her belt. Right now she teaches Talented and Gifted Learning in the beautiful state we know as Florida!
I will be their in August when they open up Diagon Alley and the Hogwarts Express...
Because I am a big nerd.
Maybe we can schedule a Blogger Meetup!!
Surprise 2.0
Oh and SPECIAL shoutout to Farley for this linky. And for being the inspiration for my "Creations" link on my navigation bar.
Gotta give "street cred" where it is due :-)

I love your design! Super cute! I understand your need for the Route 44. We don't have sonic where I am from, but where I currently live we do. We are moving back home in a week and I might be a little sad to not have sonic anymore!

Third Grade Tidbits
I also posted a JT picture with my Currently May! I secretly listen to them when no one else is around. I guess it's not much of a secret anymore...
ReplyDeleteNSYNC!!!!! I wish they were still together and that their music was on the radio every other song!
ReplyDeleteYour blog looks amazing!! I love the clipart of you! :)
ReplyDeleteAlexis ♥ Laugh. Eat. Learn.

Buzzing With Mrs. McClain
Yeah, there is NO Sonic in Korea, so I definitely feel your pain. I had a slumber party last night, and we totally decked out to NSync and Backstreet Boys. SO much fun dancing! Love the new blog design! Super cute and colorful. :)

Southern Fried Teachin’
OH MY GOODNESS! I feel like a celebrity. It is so bad that you missed me doing an N'SYNC dance when I read my name. Then I passed out for a few minutes because I remembered I can't dance like that anymore. Lol! Thank you, thank you, thank you for the huge shout-out. There is not one thing wrong with driving 30 mintues to get a slushy. Sonic has the best ice ever! Have you tried one of the Sparkling Ice-Cherry Limeade's (not from Sonic). I'm addicted to them right now!
ReplyDeleteI found out last year that I'm pretty much allergic to everything....except cockroaches. Oh really? GROSS!!!!!!!!! Being highly allergic to dust is probably the best thing that ever happened to me though...I got a house cleaner out of the deal!!!! HAHAH

ReplyDeleteCan't wait to keep reading your blog!!
